Dance on Camera is a 2 day workshop focusing on commercial jazz dancing. All dancers registered will participate in a casting call with choreographer Eric Campros. They will also attend a on set master class with Director Brian Thomas as well as rehearsals. During day two part of the day will be held at the Sioux City Riverfront where the film will be shot.

Previous Dance on Camera video from our 2019 event. Last time we gave our local dancers the opportunity to work with choreographer Tracie Stanfield as they created a contemporary dance on film. This years event dancers will be working on a commercial jazz dance for film.

Registration

NO AUDITION REQUIRED / All dancers registered will attend the casting, each dancer participating will be in the commercial. The casting if for the choreographer to become familiar with the dancers and cast them in specific roles. This is a part of the educational process. Dancers will see what it is like to attend a real casting.

Dancer’s must be available for both days.

Rehearsals will be at Jensen Performing Arts Center (117 Midvale Ave. Sioux City)

On site shooting will be at the Sioux City Riverfront. Exact locations will be announced on July 30th.
